* To be Sisters wouldn't they have to call something Mom, Dad and/or
Creator?
** We know the Father/Washu's Husband was prominent, and that him and the
baby were taken away... I recently saw... was it on the Tenchi Muyo Rumors
page? Someone alude to the fact that the Grand Marshal and Washu's Husband
looked similar. This coupled with the fact that:
1)We know the Grand Marshal is Mihoshi's Grand Father
2)We know Mihoshi's mother is fairly intelligent... likes Archaeology. Not something for "dumb" people to do.
3)We've never even heard a peep about Mihoshi's Father. Which means that the ball is going to be dropped later...
Much like all the Lady Tokimi stuff... if they are alluding it means it will be a BIG ball. Since this isn't being alluded to -yet- it won't be a big ball... at first. Of course it has been a while and Washu and the Grand Marshal might not even recognize each other... but love is blind so they might remember instantly. And who knows what Washu would do...
4)Smart people tend to bump into smart people. Hangout with birds and you bump into birds... hang with *evil grin* nerds and you bump into them. Washu's son would NOT be a slouch when it came to thinking. And it looks like the Marshal has a fair sum of brains... and Mihoshi's mom is into Archaeology... so that is alot of brains.
5)Traits can minimize with over exposure. Two really obese people -studies show this sorry if I am offending- will have a thinner child in alot of cases. Same with the mentally challenged usually. and the Same with the intellectual. Eventually the brains... leak out so to speak.
6)Mihoshi isn't trully an idiot... she's had a nervous breakdown when or before she got demoted. Says she used to be really hot stuff... in the Galaxy Police *pulls male minds out of gutter... you know who you are* *author dries his own hair*. Police work is taxing... could be she got wore out.
7)Have you noticed the differences in the characters from series to series? Kiyone is more stable -so far as I know- Tenchi More liked if by less girls... and I've noticed that Mihoshi is dumber in Tenchi Universe than in Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki. Here's a quote from TMIL -Tenchi Muyo! In Love for those not in the know-
"I Just can't do anything without Kiyone." sobsobsob.
In Ryo-ohki she constantly talks about how well you can count on her. This does not sound like a codependant person... like she is in Universe.
8)Sometimes she even astounds Washu... the Clay incident... she was there... BEFORE THEM... while they had brushed off the news and her being summoned off she had bumped into Clay LONG before. Her ship is nothing in comparison to Ryo-ohki's Ship form so she must have spent some time traveling before she bumped into Clay. Right?
Of course I could just be rambling but... I think I might be right on this otherwise... I'm wrong. It's happened before... why I can remember a time 10 thousand years ago when one of my calculations was off by 1*10^4000. Sure the planet was uninhabited... but still.
Of course you could ask Professor Washu... but she's attending a Seminar right now and can't be reached.
