Little Taro enters the life of the cast abruptly, and leaves an impression of the cast.

Boy does this little tike leave an impression... Has Washu's mind percolating... Sasami looking distant... Mihoshi Aeka and Ryoko at the limits of their abilities. Even Azaka and Kamidake are affected. Of course with the older male cast members busy... we don't see any pressure on Tenchi about adding to the family or anything like that... would have been funny though.

"Well My boy... seems you are a natural at taking care of infants. Hope that talent nevewr goes to waste," notes the Grandfather.

"Oh yes that would be a right awful shame," adds the Father. Turn up the turmoil for poor Tenchi if any of the girls get wind of that bit of conversation.
