Things are a bit confusing in this area. Earlier in the series we are presented a person in a purple Kimono and little Tenchi calls her Grandma. In episode 10... we are shone what looks like the same kimono but Tenchi refers to it as his mother's. Confusing. Little Tenchi is old enough when he is crying for it to be his mother dying (Talked about all over the place in "Tenchi Muyo: In Love"), but... well this is one confusing thing. And if it is REALLY his grandmother... is it Achika's Mother? or Noboyuki's? Of course the grandmother had aged far to gracefully for it to be Noboyuki's... but it also seems like an established fact that Achika's mother is long gone. So I guess it had to be Achika... old before her time due to events in TMiL. (yes I did just convince myself... no I'm not rewriting)

Guess the guy who did Ryoko's Flashbacks made an error. Oops (^^;

"Did I scare you?"
<out of shot, but coming closer> "Yeah I thought your were Grandpa."

Guess the error came because he was thinking ahead to the Grandpa part...
